What Are The State Minimum Requirements In Illinois?

Every state has different requirements for the amount of liability coverage you should have. In Illinois, the requirements are:


  • $20,000 of bodily injury coverage for one person involved in the accident
  • $40,000 of bodily injury coverage for more than one person involved in the accident
  • $15,000 of property coverage per accident
